During your consultation, the WellCare Consulting Doctor will go through your questionnaire, take a relevant medical history, may undertake an examination and will discuss treatments suitable for you and how to obtain them from WellCare. Your consulting doctor will advise you on all treatments available. If you choose an oral treatment then no further appointment may be necessary. Patients attending for injectable treatments will be instructed in the use of Caverject or Viridal Duo by the WellCare consulting doctor during the consultation. Please ask our patient service advisors to arrange for a WellCare consulting doctor to speak with you if you have concerns about your choice of consultation. What other treatment is available? You may wish to also have the WellCare Androgen Profile Test to measure your testosterone level. This can be discussed either at your consultation or later on the telephone with a WellCare consulting doctor. A small blood sample is taken for the Androgen profile at the consultation. This includes a PSA test to exclude cancer of the prostate and tests of your liver function. All treatments prescribed by the WellCare consulting doctor will be dispensed by our in-house pharmacist and sent directly to you.
