Single vaccinations for Mumps, Measles and Rubella, your alternative to MMR Please note: As of today (27 April 2009)  *We wish to advise parents that there continues to be a delay in the provision of the Mumps component of the Single Vaccination Programme.  The Merck vaccine information website (at 24 April 09) states that Mumpsvax is unavailable to order.  WellCare cannot promise that Merck will resume the manufacturing of Mumpsvax or that a suitable alternative vaccine may become available. WellCare Private General Practice offer single vaccinations of *Mumps, Measles and Rubella as an alternative to the combined MMR. We are able to vaccinate children from 13 months of age and recommend the vaccinations are given six weeks apart. Why Single Vaccinations not MMR? Rather than MMR some parents have chose Single Vaccinations for a variety of reasons. There have previously been concerns about autism and the MMR vaccination and at WellCare we believe in supporting parental choice. Where are WellCare Single Vaccination Clinics?
